while I suspect the M9 might be better suited for such portraits, there is no denying Irakly pulled off a fine low light portrait using the formidable S2
having an exquisite model helps
I love the way CCD's render colors in low light situations
much more to my taste than their silicon pumped up CMOS cousins
her eyes are beautifully rendered

as to the noise that our intrepid snake_b complained, I fail to see it in this massively reduced for the web image

the nice thing about having lots of pixels to play with, is how well noise is handled by file size reduction

Irakly, you should submit this to this month's Challenge
