Haha, I guess nerd and geek have both positive and negative connotations. Cosplay is short for costume play. I enjoy taking photos of cosplayers because I like to watch Japanese animation as well.

Rakurai, I took some shots further away, but I find it difficult as I have trouble framing them properly because with the 50mm I need to stand at a distance far enough that almost always there will be someone infront of me.

But the above is a lousy excuse, because there are short periods of time when there is no one blocking me. The real problem is that I panic and end up with boring snapshots!

For the 2 photos below I had plenty of time and space though.

I saw this guy spinning his Light Saber and I asked he to continue while I framed him and fired a series of shots.
