OM-D EM-5 - High Iso Banding?

Hi everyone.

Managed to hunt down an EM-5 in NYC today and have been fooling around with it all night. I also have a NEX 7, and this camera, unlike the 7, seems to be designed by photographers for photographers. Just straight forward care and attention to detail.

One large concern though. I am noticing some serious banding at ISO 1600. Is this just a fluke? I don't mean to be alarmist but see the follow shot.

I will be more than happy to post full rez crops. But this is disturbing to say the least.
