I'm afraid I can't help you with identifying the bird, but I am curious as to your opinions on the OM-D/Panasonic 100-300mm combination. My wife has a G3 and that lens and it works pretty well. I'm in the market for a new camera and I am considering the OM-D and was wondering if it works well with that lens. I've read some people's comments that the autofocus is slower on the OM-D, and I've read complaints about the OM-D focus points not being settable to a small enough size for small bird photography. I'm living in Costa Rica (great for birds, not so great for cameras) so I can't just go over to a camera store to try one out - the OM-D will probably be in stores here once its replacement hits the market.
