M5 12-50mm & 40-150mm at a Desert Botanical Garden

I thought I should explore my M5, so I took 4 hours and headed to Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix AZ........

My biggest disappointment was that the battery low symbol came on at 180 pictures and went red at 200. The camera was on MOST of the time for almost 4 hours, so that IS and screen must suck some juice!

I will admit that having 16MP (have E5 and PM1 and HAD P3) does make a difference when cropping. Got some bees in flight on top of a 20 foot Saguaro that was 35-40 feet away, and at 300mm they were still pretty small.

MACRO is decent, but it sure is nice having it on the 'kit' lens that goes 24mm too.
