All of my friends who have bought their cameras for less than 1000 dollars are jpeg shooters, alteast 15 of them! Its an apparent fact that vast majority who use consumer cameras are jpeg shooters!

And all my friends with a DSLR would either shoot RAW, or shoot JPEG but not with the default settings.

You're amusing, talking as if a sample of 15 can sustain claims like those made by Gazooma/ET2 (99%, even more).

you are correct, I shoot 95% in jpeg but I keep all the settings to bare minimum so that I can adjust them afterwards. Sharpening is critical of them all then depends on the purpose that is whether the file is for printing or for showing on web , it also depends on size of image.

Oly files in DPR comparison are over sharpened. Anyone who has spend some time with photography would understand it.
