How many non-pro D700 upgrading to D800?

With all of the D800 threads on here lately, it seems like everyone is upgrading.

Im just wondering how many amateur D700 owners are just staying put? When i first bought the D700, i figured it was way too much camera for me (it still is), but, it would be something i could hang onto for the next 15+ years (or until it croaks). And, this would allow me to invest in good lenses, instead of upgrading bodies every 3-4 years.
