2012 Ripcurl Pro surfing Bells Beach Australia

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share a few shots from this years Ripcurl Pro world surfing event, from Bells Beach, Victoria Australia. This is the second time I've been to this event.

All photos taken are with a K5 and Sigma 50-500. I didn't realise until I was packing up at the end of the day that I shot all the photos with both the camera and lens stabilization turned on (whoops!).
So the shots probably could have been a little sharper. I'll find out next year.

Most of these have been heavily cropped (4 x 6) and processed for matte paper printing.

One thing I did learn is that the Wimberley sidekick gimbal mount is fantastic. I wish I had more events I could use it at.
