Thanks, it's the first time I take pictures of leaves systematically. I found it a little bit difficult on this subject to select a suitable focus point / plane and used very different apertures from shot to shot. A lot to learn ...
Is your Elmarit a newer one or an old design (1959-1974) like mine?
I was lucky to get a new one (Elmarit-M, built 2000) in mint condition. It is a pleasure to use with the GXR and focusing is very easy even without focusing aid. It's a bit heavy, though. The previous design, the thin, is about half the weight. I guess yours is the fat, shorter than the Elmarit-M and a bit heavier than the thin. Best, N.
