I have the OMD but will never rid of my E-P1…

Nice set of photos. It seems like you made many fond memories with your E-P1.

I made a promise I would never let go of my E-P1, even though I now have the E-M5. Okay, the E-M5 is a AF speed demon and high-ISO king in the m-43 world in comparison, but there is something I still love about the E-P1. The colors out of camera are wonderful, and if used with consideration, you can get some wonderful shots.

I agree, it is probably best for being a landscape camera since the AF is now quite slow compared to newer models. I tend to use my 7-14mm on it, and it is great to be able to shoot in low-light with the IBIS.

The value of the E-P1 is so low now, I don’t think there is much point to selling. How much did you get for yours?

For me, it still has a purpose, even though most of my serious shooting will now be on the E-M5.

Regards,
Tony
