Advice on the Pany 20mm 1.7
May 6, 2012

I have a G3, just got the Pany 20mm 1.7 and while the low light capabilities are impressive I find the auto-focus somewhat slow. I realize compared to the zoom kit lens it is slower to AF because something to do with how it focuses.

Here's where I need some advice. I'm interested in mostly street photography, from the hip kind of stuff and also landscape. What do you think about me returning the 20mm 1.7 and getting the Olympus 45mm 1.8 and finding a legacy 20mm? I don't mind having manual focus on the 20mm since I would use it for macros mainly. Is this an even somewhat advisable course of action? Thanks in advance.
