Is the 12-50 that bad

Hi,

I presently own a Nikon D90 with a 1.8 35mm g lens, a 18-200 vr ll lens, and a tokina 12 24 wide angle. I've been pretty happy with this system except for the weight issue. So I ordered a black omd with the 12 to 50 kit lens. I 've heard that this lens is soft particularly at the long end. I like to take landscape shots,urban landscape,night scenes, and street shots when I am traveling. Will I regret getting this lens? Will I notice a difference printing up to 11 by 14? Should I get the primes? I do prefer the zooms and I do like that the 12 to 50 goes down to 12 mm.

20 mm 1.7 panny
45 mm 1.8 zuiko
But this is too expensive to get all at once. My budget is about $1700
Any Ideas?
