Nice - good crater detail - it's amazing how scarred the moon is. And well preserved...

It must have been quite the show (some 108 million years ago) when it took the hit that created Tycho, some 85 km or so in diameter. The kinetic impact would have been significant - the largest nuclear weapons tests resulted in fireballs of 7-8 km in size and the largest crater created by such is less than 2 km wide.

I guess it's not that impressive when one considers the number of large impact sites here on Earth, many of which are substantially larger, but Tycho always provides a good focal reference.
