Given that we don't have the spare batteries yet, I usually have the camera off when ever possible. I also use the EVF and not the screen but I don't find the sensor overly sensitive.
I used to own a Nikon V1 and found that EVF sensor wicked sensitive. It would switch to the EVF if you came any where near the camera it seemed.
