Linear or circular polarizer filter for nex 5n

Hi guys,
I've ordered Sony nex 5n with both the kit 18-55 and the 50mm 1.8 lenses.

I also want to get a polarized filter, but not quite sure which one I need, the liner or the circular, as I understand that one of them might hinder the autofocusing/metering of the camera.
