Well, of course I can't compete with Danny but at least I can offer a picture of the moon from yesterday (weatherforecast for today was cloudy) the RIGHT side up

Greetings from the northern hemisphere...

Shot with 5N FD 80-200/4 @ close to 200, Teleconverter FD 2x-B, aperture 8 => f16.

I was surprised how fast the moon moves as I had to reposition the camera for almost every shot. This is an indication of not using too long shutter speeds. The night sky had humidity, there was a halo visible with the eye, but not with the camera. So I guess in winter a better shot should be possible. Massive use of tone curves.

Just waiting now for the moon to come up, fine day here. More practise. Tomorrow will be our 6th, so this should be fun if the weather stays fine for it.

Nice shot and good work to get it that clear. Its not easy so very nice.

All the best.

Danny.

Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.
