XP1 white DOF patch

Hi guys.

I am missing something or there's something wrong with the DOF indication for manual mode? At F16, if I am moving the focus towards infinity, the dof patch gets smaller. I also have X100 and works way different, I actually use the hyper focal setting (not quite right based on Fuji calculations, but it works...) and the patch extends from 2.8m to infinity at F16.

Sorry if this has been already addressed on the forum but I couldn't find anything clear on this matter.
