Back in the past when I ordered my D700 from them, it was packed very well. That was 2008. I've ordered maybe $1,500 worth of lenses from them in the last week after I got my OM-D and I was disappointed by those terribly weak air pillows. The pillows lose their air and in the case of my two lenses that were $1,300 in one box, they were pretty much just lose and bouncing around inside the box by the time it got to me. I got another box from them a few days later with the air pillows still inflated and it was fine. I think the problem is those stupid air pillows. They are weak and lose the air.

On the other hand, I bought my OM-D somewhere else since it was in stock and that place used some really heavy duty bubble wrap (I mean very heavy duty, quality bubble wrap that has think plastic) wrapped around the camera box, etc. You'd have to drive over the box to damage it

I'm not a whiner, but it's worth mentioning this so maybe B&H will stop using those weak air pillows for expensive items. For a rocket air blower purchase?...ok, just throw it in the box with no packing material. No problem for that item. But for an expensive camera?.....please wrap it up in something stronger.
