Until recently, I shot a G3. I have experience of m4/3. And I don't have a problem with it. I like the system.

But the fact remains that the Fuji is not as accessible as the Oly. Period. The rangefinder style parallax issues alone are enough to put off some people.

I'm pleased to hear you shoot primes. I do to. It is how I was taught.

But shooting primes is not the market convention. The overwhelming majority of cameras are sold with their kit zooms. This is the market. And the Fuji is not even offered with a zoom yet. This intentionally limits its appeal to most buyers ( people who probably don't read DPR) and I think it is telling that Fuji made that business decision.

I don't really understand the defensiveness. I am a fan of m4/3 and the Fuji. But I do think the Fuji is the most focused, niche camera to hit the market in recent times. Thats not a bad thing, but I think it is worth noting.
