How to avoid banding in Fuji X100 panoramas?

Ok. So I have researched the forum and other sites as well looking for an answer but have only found theories.

Has anyone found a solution to avoiding banding in handheld panorama sweeps with the X100?

Are there certain aperture or shutter speed requirements?

I would like this thread to be a source of answers.
