That ties in with my thoughts that Tamron were struggling to get the K protocol working correctly.

Hence the flash issues and AF problems that dog Tamron lens.

I suspect the R&D required for them is greater than the return for K2/3 mount .

Not sure if there big enough to support many multiple mounts and with the Sony tie in they have to support Alpha.

I think it more likely that Tokina would restart K than Tamron continue and both are unlikely unless Ricoh can drive market share upwards for different reasons.

Can't decide if its a measure of Pentax or Tamron surely if it profitable for Sigma the it should be for Tamron?
