+1 for the Sigma 17-50...

A compact constant f2.8 that is well prices and on my 7D most of the time. I have found the HSM AF to be quick and accurate. I think the OS helps out a great deal when shooting a video clip handheld. It comes with a case and lens ho

This shot was handheld on the 7D...nothing fancy, but not bad.
