What does Colorspace UDMA do?
Without a computer you can download up to 750 gb of images from your cards at up to 40mbs.
It acts as a USB drive for you PC, Laptop or Android device (A different version supports iPAD)
Images, including RAW, can be browsed and zoomed. EXIF data and Histograms are available
You can recover deleted images from the card
It supports SD, CF, MS cards
Each download goes into a new directory and the directories can be renamed so it can support several cameras (have supported 5 different cameras in the past)
A77 movies AVCHD amd MPEG are supported but not displayed (I shot both this morning downloaded and PMB loaded both from the device via USB)
The battery life is rated at 250 gb of downloads, I have used an earlier version for a full week on a single charge.
I have used an earlier version since 2002. It never gave me problems until the A77 came out with such large files. The new one has 10 times the capacity and probably 10 times the download speed.
A77, A700 8mm Bower, 50mm 1.7, 35-70 F4, 90mm Tamron, 18-250 Sigma, 70-200 Sigma & 50-500 Bigma
