the xpro-1 AF is awesome
I never get an OFF picture

I always find comments like this strange

There is a learning curve on the xpro-1, but so is there on the 5Diii

I tried the camera with a 35 F1.4, liked it, but found it quirky and AF almost useless. My findings were validated by others posting in the preview area of DPReview of what I was hoping was going to be a great camera.

I have an M9 with a 50 Summilux, so that is my standard. I don't share others opinion here as to the X-1 Pro and found no reason to keep it so back it went after a week.

However, I did try a friends Novoflex Adapter with his NEX 7 and my Summilux and I would recommend that more than the X1 Pro. Then you can have the best of both all worlds. That may be the camera I get as a backup. Awesome combination and I like the feel better as well. Plus, it is cheaper and IMHO, better IQ.
