If you want a new kit, look at brands who've updated their camera lineup recently.
Look at the older models - they can be had for a significantly smaller amount than the very latest.
Eg Oly Epl1s, Nikon d3100, panasonic G2's etc.
Do not, repeat do not underestimate the cost of peripherals.
