Nice moon shots from HS30, XS1, and dSLR. These Fuji super-zooms with IDZ produce quite decent enough images for me. They may still be out-classed by dSLR + big lens + up-sizing, but personally I am laying off 10+ kg camera bags for now.
I am mostly shooting the HS30 in EXR auto, and enjoying the lazy point and shoot convenience.
Having been upgrading a super-zoom each year, I picked the HS30 over the XS1 this time. However, if the nuances of the XS1 get worked out, I am very likely to upgrade to the XS2, and start to keep my camera for a longer term.
