HI,
I was also looking at this lens as its cheaper than the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 with some nice reviews. Im shooting on a Nikon D7000, but im a bit confused to how the confirmation chip works. Am i right in that with the chip the body would ready the aperture and then you'll get some sort of confirmation when you are focused? I didn't think id be going for a manual lens, but if its sharp and cheaper and the focus is a matter of getting a confirmation in the viewfinder than i'd would be.
Also, how bad is the distortion? I know with WA you will get some on certain shots, but would you have to correct ever shot with this type of lens?
Thanks
