Just make an image same ISO, approx same shutter speed of this image and in PS subtract that dark from the original. Then look again. If the magenta is gone, you can be pretty sure it was amp glow.

Not quite sure what you are telling me to do. What do I take a picture of? Can you direct me to your thread?
