D800 Monitor Color Cast - Still a problem? Nikon Fixing?

Let me try this again... As reported here and other sources, the display monitor on the D800 seems to have a color cast to it. Has anyone heard of an update to this issue, specifically, is there a fix? Has Nikon acknowledged it? Is anything being done? I have had one in my hands and it definitely has a color cast on the display. The files are fine but forget about using the display if you are trying to manage color. I'd also like to know if this is widespread or maybe a bad batch? Thanks.
