One chance to get it is right. There were only 6 seconds between the first two pictures, 15 between the next two, and only a few seconds each time the plane appeared between buildings. Hand held was the only way for me to follow the flight. I had a Nikon D3 set up on a tripod with a long prime, but I never got a chance to use it. I'm glad I had the Sony. It's not just the camera you have with you; you have to have the one that will get the shot.
