It is possible yes, but from what I read, polarizer filters don't work so well with ultra wide lenses, and really I don fell the need for it, the skies are great even without filters

Keep in mind though that polarizers aren't just used for skies. They are also great for improving the look of foliage and cutting down reflections on water.

I've been trying to convince myself to get a wide angle for a while now but both seem quite pricey to me. If I was going to get one though it would be the 9-18mm without a doubt. The combination of price, weight, range and abilit to fit filters compared to the 7-14mm make it a clear winner to me.
