right but do you know who made the Oly 16mp sensor in the EM5?

I am guessing it's an Aptina sensor but I am not 100 percent sure.

I am also guessing my D800 sensor is also an Aptina sensor but I cannot be 100 percent sure about it, maybe it is a Renasus?

I played with the EM5 RAW files and I dont think it is a Sony sensor, its shadow rendering does not look like my NEX7 sensor.

Do you think it is a Sony ? if so why do you think so?

is that possible it is a Samsung or a Toshiba?

thanks.

Panasonic senor is very competitive. M4/3 is very close to performance of APS sensors from Sony and Canon. I don't think they can do better for Olympus, at least not by much.

I agree, but there are others good like Fuji sensors

Fuji sensors are Toshiba sensors.
