Dunno about all that (miserable) thread.

I just came from the sigma sd1 review where I compared results (raw) between the sd1, the new Olympus (just reviewed) and the Nikon D800.

As far as things go in some scenes it is far better in resolution that all the other mentioned cameras, even the might D800.
Hard to tell with these magnificent beasts but it's there in the fine details.
