These we simply a camera OOC B&W capability & processing examples (more than anything else) - inspired from your 3 B&W post and it went all astray i afraid .. The light / contrast were very difficult - i do not usually shoot in such conditions, and leaves and sun - is pretty difficult in B&W - they are harsh these first ones i agree ..
Here are my HL settings, i work with for any camera in fact :
