There is a little bit of cropping going on in the dragonfly photo; just enough to rotate it to the current orientation.

The 70-200 has a Minimum Focusing Distance of 55.1 inches, according to Sigma's specs. So I stood as close as I could and still have the D7000 lock focus and took about 8 shots of the dragonfly; then did some pp in Lightroom 4.1 and PSCS6 beta.
