Anyone here got the RRS L-plate for the Canon G1X?

yep, I picked one up recently. Like all RRS kit it's very nice. When fitted allows access to battery and card which is great and means it can be on most of the time, the vertical part is removable when not needed, only slight downside is LCD cannot be rotated when vertical part is fitted, just need to remember before fitting. I tend to use without this most of the time so no big deal.
