Day-01 of K-01

Switched from Oly EP-3.

Love the ergonomics of K-01 - it is not a perfect camera but it let me focus on shooting, which is very important. The kit lenses is marvelous.

Compared to my EP-3:

• EP-3 has better color (WB?) with flash

• EP-3 focus speed and low light focus are a bit better

• K-01 movie mode do not auto focus if I am not mistaken... not a big deal for me though

• no option of EVF

Other than that...

+ K-01 is more comfy to operate

+ better sensor - much more freedom over ISOs
+ Great kit lens (sharp, relatively fast, inconspicuous for street use)

+ I figure the bigger body is not a real issues as there are many choices of small lenses, and when using a big lens, small body offers little benefits.

Questions:

• anyone knows the differences among HDR mode 1,2 & 3?

• what would you recommend for my next primes (one wide and one tele, AF or manual)
