You're getting out to the right places at the right time - just a few tweaks to your compositions and some graft on processing will bring out some great shots. By far the best on there is that wonderful green rockpool/shallows which needs a simple crop.
Composition - what people don't realise is the importance of the frame edges and the corners. Get these right and pretty much any arrangement will work in the centre, no magic formulas or rules required - everyone gets so wound up in the subject they forget the importance of the supporting act.
