All I can tell you is the the new E-M5 is light years ahead of K-7 in AF "Accuracy". AF is spot-on, every time !

Now for the lenses; m4/3 just does not have "fast" zooms yet ;-( Panasonic is about to come out with two fast zooms covering the ranges you were talking about. I would recommend waiting for them (they say, this summer)

The new Oly 12-50 kit lens seems to be a good performer. Then again these small cameras scream to be used with primes. I would recommend these three primes, and waiting for a long fast zoom:

  • Oly 12/2.0

  • Pany 25/1.4

  • Oly 45/1.8

(sort of like the 3 amigos of the Pentax world)

This is a very predictable suggestion but the 12/2 lens is vastly overrated, you get more versatility with the 7-14mm f/4. Large apertures have very marginal use on wide angle lenses.

Olympus has also announced 60mm f/2.8 macro and 75mm f/1.8 lenses to be shipped at some later time this year.
