Jerry, Even on "Trips of a Lifetime" I don't make enough exposures to empty a battery, although some must take enough to do that. I took photos for so long in film days that I can't break the habit

On my two biggest trips to date - 'Tahiti-Pitcairn Island-Total Eclipse-Easter Island-10 days in Peru", and two years later, "Antarctica", I never wore our a battery, nor took that many photos per day.

Maybe I should have.

But I'm curious why you defend spare batteries to me - I usually do have a spare in my hip pocket, and didn't "knock" spares - just right now I'm using my own "ZS6" battery in the ZS19 in case I decide to rturn it.

For my earlier cameras. TZ1-5 I hit a sale mentioned on this forum and got several batteries for those cameras for 99ยข a piece!! So my wife's TZ5 is well provided for.

What I AM saying is that chargers work on both 220 & 110 volts, so all one needs is a plug adaptor for those countries visited. Ships usually in my experience, can accommodate US plugs.

Cheers, -Erik
