Horse Pucky

As a Naval Photographer I had to learn the rules. The rules attempt to tell you what a "Proper" photograph is. Untill I learned the rules those around me who knew what they were doing found it almost impossible to explain anything to me untill I learned what the heck they were talking about.

The rules are meant to be broken! More horse pucky. The rules are meant to be followed but perhaps with a bit of leeway. The rules get you 85% of the way there, the rest, well the rest is up to you.

But I'm a technically good photographer and I'm a lousy artist. But funny thing is I can take other's work product and make it look, well, pretty good.

I cut out the boy, manipulated the background.

Then I cut out the cyclist and well here is what came of it:

I love adding cloudy sky's to things B4:

Digital Photography is fun, learn the rules then break them as needed.
