Other mfr's lenses ---> m4/3 adapter
In reply to Boris, Apr 27, 2012

You can purchase an adapter to use your Canon EF lenses on any m4/3 camera for around $15 at Amazon. I have a G1 and E-P1 and E-PL1 and they work fine on all.

You must set the EF lenses to Manual focus and there is NO aperture control with these adapters. So either use them wide open or change the aperture with your Canon camera.

If you need aperture control there are adapters that have built in aperture rings but I think they cost many times more than $15, more like $85 to $150 and up.

I also use Nikon to m4/3 adapters for my older manual focus and manual aperture Nikon Ai lenses and it works very well.

They also sell Pentak K to m4/3 adapters and M42 (Pentax Screw mount) and Leica M and Leica M39 (Leica screw mount). Many others available as well.

That's just about the very best thing about m4/3 as you can use almost any lens ever made on them.
