My first attempt at video w/ the D800

One thing I always do when I travel is to take little snippets of video and piece them together for a quick montage. My trip to Europe earlier this month was my first opportunity to use the D800 for making videos. Granted, I'm not the most experienced person when it comes to recording and editing video, and there's no storyline to connect the scenes together, but I think that this is a decent attempt at what an amateur can do with the camera. I recorded both 1080p/24 and 720p/60, which I usually conformed to 24p for a slow-mo effect. I also took advantage of the D800's time-lapse video feature (used for the London Eye clip), as well as the built-in intervalometer to put together a higher-res image sequence that I could zoom in/out of (the Arc de Triomph clip). The video was edited in Final Cut Pro X.
