5D Portrait colors vs D800

The D800 has amazing dynamic range and shadow detail.

I'm wondering if color detail in skin tones is better in the 5D3? After looking at D800 photos it seems to smooth out skin tone details and perhaps the 5D3 has more detail and subtly? Has anyone else seen that?
