Ext Flash Suggestions for FZ50?

Any suggestions for an FZ50 external flash??

I have been using an external flash unit labeled as a "Sunpak Auto 383 Super" for the past 6 or 7 years on an FZ20, FZ30, and presently the FZ50.

Well the poor old thing has decided it has had enough. The 'ready/test' light will come indicating it is charged, but it will only fire occasionally (most of the time not), whether on the camera or not.

I believe it was only $80 new back then. I would like something comparable but cheaper than the expensive FL50.
