There should be no color shift whatsoever in that kind of shot (being snow), yet the snow turns purple/blue the closer you get to the bottom two corners. Vignetting correction doesn't alter the color balance, nor does f11 change the situation (though, it does all but eliminate any residual vignetting). I have this problem in many keeper images, which requires either the de-saturate grad filters in ACR (a bit clumsy), or in most cases, the de-saturate sponge in PS. It gets really hairy when you are stitching, and there is a "pulsing" in color (white-magenta-white) as you scan the edge.
