Best prime lens- 50mm, 40mm or 35mm?

I have all three... but will be selling the 35mm. It's a fine lens, but the 40mm is just so sharp, and offers very close focusing [yes the 1:1 leaves a very short distance to the subject, but 1:1 is very close up indeed..., its working distance is perfectly usable at what would still be considered close-up], whilst the 50mm does nicer dof than the 35mm. If going for one, it'd certainly be the 40mm for me.
