Web photo hosting alternatives to flickr?

I recently discovered Yahoo is affiliated with a publication I dislike and won't be a part of. I THEN discovered that as of 2010, flickr is fatally tied to Yahoo, and that by deleting my Yahoo acct, I must delete my flickr. Even though I pay for Pro. Disgusting.
So now, I'm looking for an alternative photo hosting site. I've heard of many, but don't know enough about each to compare. I would very much appreciate some suggestions, pratfalls, warnings, and recommendations of any photo hosting sites you guys/gals might have used or use. THanks!
