these look like E shots indeed.. that is my expectation.

While I don't want to get into the debate of D800 vs D800E, these types of shots is what makes me observe that the D800E has the "Extra" "Edge" of clarity and sharpness.

There is no glossy feeling or smoothness that AA sneaks in, just pure sharpness without halos.

I did take a few shots with the D800E today. I didn’t have much time, and normally would not have bothered to take a picture like this (with the subject so far away and 200mm my longest focal length), but I was curious... The lens is the 70-200 f2.8 VRII, 200mm@f5.6
