Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing. I've been shooting the Tamron 17-50 VR on my D300 for over a year and remain very happy with the lens. I borrowed a friends Nikkor version for some comparisons and that one is sharper at some apertures, but not enough to justify the price difference IMHO.
